The Purpose

Water environment has received greater recognition since economy has developed rapidly, that leads environmental pollution from factories to cause river and ocean contamination issue. Since then, these pollution issues seemed to be solved by development of antipollution technology and Water Quality Pollution Control Act. However, water problems due to new pollution issues have came out one after another, and we are at risk for progression to these problems. Although we have lived a rich life by economical development, that leads serious water problems such as nutrient enrichment. These contaminated substances have destroyed Eco system for aquatic livings and fish. That has affected on fisheries industry providing traditional food culture and decreased fish catches.

In such environment, water purification in rivers, lake/marsh, oceans, and effluent from factories and homes are urgent. In addition, we need to develop seaweed bed for fishes to protect aquatic Eco system and increase fish catches. Researchers have reported that CarbonFiber is effective method for water environment improvement. For the future, it is necessary to develop CarbonFiber technology for water use for practical use and to disseminate the technology to purify water environment.

To develop the technology, disseminate it, and contribute to environment conservation, we established Carbon Fiber Make Water Method Association.
